Celebrate Freedom Concert: July 3rd celebrate freedom with face painting, live music, silent auctions, and food trucks at Chesapeake City Park. Starting at 5 p.m., the event will be free with a $5 charge for parking.
Stars & Stripes Explosion at the Oceanfront: Multiple performances start at 7:30 p.m. at the oceanfront transforming the area into a focal point of Stars & Stripes Explosions. Firework displays over the ocean will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Annual Fourth of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks: Presented by AT&T, a festive celebration will be held at Town Point Park beside the newly-finished Waterside District from 5-10 p.m. Guests can feast on barbecue, seafood, and other seasonal foods while relaxing on the lawn with live entertainment.
4th of July Stars In The Sky: Located at Victory Landing Park, the Peninsula’s biggest Independence Day celebration features live music, great food, and a kaleidoscope of color is given in a spectacular fireworks show. The Newport News event starts at 7 p.m. and continues to 10 p.m.
Fourth of July Fireworks in Williamsburg: As Williamsburg is historic for quests of independence, it is fitting that a grand fireworks extravaganza takes place over Colonial Williamsburg. Enjoy a day of activities in Colonial Williamsburg accompanied by an evening of fireworks.
Fireworks in Portsmouth: Along the Elizabeth River, celebrate Independence Day with fireworks from Seawall or along Crawford Parkway. Join the city in celebration at 9:00 p.m.
