It’s 2021 and Chesapeake Homes is turning 30! For those of you that may not know us, let us reintroduce ourselves. As an award-winning residential builder, we take pride in our longevity in this business and we never take what we do lightly. Bringing homes to people is truly an honor and we appreciate that every day. We have spent much of our 30 years living up to the title of your Hometown Builder across all three of the divisions that we build in. Even though our roots were planted in Coastal Virginia, we have been very fortunate to expand across two other divisions along the East Coast. It has been a goal to bring our Hometown Builder approach to both our Raleigh, NC and our Myrtle Beach, SC divisions alike.

Bringing affordable homes that are also environmentally friendly is what we do best. With each floorplan comes a carefully cultivated product that will not only be functional for our homeowners but also fit the styles that buyers today are looking for. In the last five years since our 25th anniversary, we brought a State-of-the-Art Design Gallery to our buyers that provides them with an experience unlike any other. Imagine a 3,000 square foot space with all things design by some of the top brand name vendors in the industry. With a vast array of products and the help of our in-house Design Consultant, our future homeowners can put together a home that truly reflects their personality while also meeting specific needs such as durability.

Of course, we cannot begin our 30th year without acknowledging what helps make this company move forth every day – our employees! This past year was a year that many of us, individuals and companies alike, have had to readjust and work through to find our new normal. It was no different for our company. We are so lucky to have employees that were always willing to put forth the effort and adapt as needed. From following new guidelines in our decorated models to changing work locations as needed to practice proper social distancing, they did what it took to make sure that the success of our company did not falter. They are what makes our company function smoothly day in and day out, pandemic or no pandemic.

Thank you to all of our homeowners, both past and future, for providing us with a reason to continually do what we love. Without the trust that you put in us to build you and your family a place to call home, we would not have the joy of celebrating this year.
