Chesapeake Homes is happy to be building in Moyock, North Carolina with our Agri-hood, Waterleigh. An Agri-hood is a housing development centered around community farming. We have called upon local farmers from the Moyock Farmers Market to join the residents of our community in creating gardens in the many open spaces throughout the neighborhood, requiring healthy land management practices that include using non-GMO seeds. In their large backyards, residents can leave their phone and laptops behind and embrace the outdoors in these fields. Waterleigh is located on Tulls Creek Road approximately 2 and ½ miles off of Caratoke Highway, meaning only a short commute to the city life of both Virginia Beach and Norfolk with the Chesapeake Expressway, and an easy commute to the peaceful Outer Banks for the perfect getaway. While Moyock is known for their lower taxes, it doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice any convenience considering its ideal location. For nature seekers, Northwest River Park is the perfect place to kick back and relax with its hiking trails, boat rentals, opportunities for fishing, and mini-golf. If you’re looking for a relaxing yet affordable place to have some fun, Eagle Creek Golf Club & Grill is the place to be. The Weeping Radish Farm Brewery was featured on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri and is right down the road from Waterleigh. During summertime swing by H2OBX, only minutes from the community, and explore more than 30 rides, slides, and attractions. Waterleigh has a bit of everything around, while you might be living in an Agri-hood, you have easy accessibility to the city life meaning this community has something for everybody!
